Kangaroo Care & Babywearing Basics is held online via Google Meet Video Conference.
Class is from 12-1 pm.
Rachel will explain how kangaroo care/skin to skin therapy and babywearing help baby to cry less, learn independent sleep, and build a strong immune system; and how KC & BWing help you feel calmer, happier, and strongly bonded to your baby. She will teach you how to use KC garments and carriers safely and for ultimate comfort for both you and baby. You will learn the pros & cons and how to put on a wide variety of KC garments, slings, wraps, and structured baby carriers.

Instructor, Rachel Gaston-Pifer has been wearing her own babies since 2010, a Babywearing Consultant with the Center for Babywearing Studies since 2015, a Kangaroo Caregiver with the U.S. Institute for Kangaroo Care since 2016, and a Rebozo Instructor with Gena Kirby since 2016. Besides teaching classes locally and online, Rachel has presented on many different babywearing topics at MommyCon and the International Babywearing Conferences.
