A Vegetable Peeler, summer’s secret tool

I love this time of year. Our own small garden is producing a few veggies and the local farms are full of fresh fruits and vegetables.  Gazpacho, salsa, fruit cobbler, so much yum!  

My ancient, but amazing vegetable peeler finally fell apart forever last year and I could not find its replacement. Nothing was peeling thinly, all the peelers I tried were mini butchers gouging away flesh and peel. But I’ve found its next generation! And so far, it is quite kid friendly, with supervision.

Behold! 

I don’t often peel veggies, but when I do, I want as little peel off as possible.
